Here’s me

M. A. Larson was born and raised in various locales around Minnesota, went to the University of Miami in Florida, then moved to New York City, and now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, three daughters, and dog, Waffles. Despite all these homes, he remains a diehard Timberwolves fan and a reluctant Vikings fan.

He has written for film and television for years, though books will always be his first love. His favorite writers are John Steinbeck and Shirley Jackson. The desert island food is peanut butter, and other favorites include whales, Elvis Costello, Project Runway, and the Connecticut woods.
